This is kinda tangent to the thread, but that's flip-flop reasoning. For a place not to be a "hugbox" doesn't require the opposite spectrum. In a sense, gathering around to call something shit is about as vapid as gathering around to call something good. I personally categorize these threads as a close analog.

Though with that said I'm not really against it. It's tolerable as long as it doesn't take over and we get a "shitbox".
