Quick question, /art/. I muck about with GIMP from time to time, and I was wondering... if I have a 193 MB satellite image of Earth's surface (see pic) and map it to a rotating sphere at 120 frames... how big, exactly, is the final file going to be?
I've already started the process, please respond before my computer implodes.

Depends on the sphere size.
About half of the image will be blank (corners), and only about half of the map will be visible.
I'm guessing it will be around 4-7 GB
That said, I have no idea what the process is or what the result will be, so hard to say.
