Everyone starts somewhere, even people like Frazetta sucked at one point in time. If you ask me most of the art there is half naked girls with some type of weapon ' or some stupid dragon, or orge or armored warrior nothing new or interesting, sure is rendered well but content wise is all the same pile of poo and every one is trying to be Feng Zhu or whomever made concept art popular.

This started happening like 2 weeks after the site was introduced when CGHub fell, when generic anime art and fanart started FLOODING the place. It kept growing and growing, probably because deviantards wanted attention so badly. I used to think of DrawCrowd as a great successor back when it first started out and only professionals used it. Alas, that age is no more.
Goddamn Artstation is nice and all but I would have loved for the devs for have been able to get their KS funded for CGHub 2.0. My friend at Art Center donated and it still wasn't enough.
