>>1594Name is important when someone uses a name (which happens pretty often in draw threads), and post number is important to read replies. I tried to hide the post number, and it became harder to understand who was replying to who. But I see the post date as a much more special situation.
The visibility is not really something to complain about, but there's a lot of design related things that most people just don't think about because they don't know about it. It's similar to art composition, beginners may not be able to tell it's (or why it is) fucked up, but an experienced artist will be able to see more and improve it a ton just by moving things around a bit and adding an element or two.
>it would have been best to stay as close as possible to the default theme>trying to fix something that isn't brokenI understand what you're saying, but personally I find the ancient yotsuba theme really rather ugly. And I don't subscribe to the whole "don't fix what isn't broken" idea, because I would rather improve what can be improved. Most of the complaints in that regard just come from the fact that people don't like change, and don't want to press a button to revert it.
That said, I do acknowledge some things are more a preference than a direct "improvement".
If more people complain about it, I'll remove it. But you can always select another theme from the bottom right if it bothers too much. Or optionally put this into your custom CSS:
div.post *,.thread *{opacity:1!important;}I made the orange darker, hope that helps in that regard.
