>>1648I recommend learning some proper anatomy and not copying anime style yet. Anime and other similar stylistic stuff (i.e. scott pilgrim) uses exaggerated proportions which require an understanding of real life figures to make them work.

>>1659I'm practicing anatomy, the first actual realistic one I've done was the first of the womans back, but as you can probably tell I seem to do better with cartoony stuff.
I appreciate the feedback,

I have no idea what you're trying to do with that patchy smudgy blurry coloring, but it looks just bad. It looks like you're using an air brush straight onto a white background, and then using more airbrush with pure black to draw random patches everywhere.
It looks especially bad because you're avoiding the lineart while you do it. Creases and crevices and gaps should be dark, but since you're avoiding the lineart, you're creating the opposite where the gaps are much brighter and the spots where light should land on are black.
Try making a selection of the part that you want to color or make a new layer for different parts, and then use the brush. In fact, try anything besides whatever you're currently doing.
If you want to learn painting, use a solid brush first, and then blend the colors with opacity. If you want animu look, use solid colors and solid shading (cell-shading), and maybe soft barely-visible gradients.

>>1664Well noted! I'll keep all this in mind and try all your tips.
