I don't get why people on /ic/and on here keep whining about this??? If you like old master paintings, good for you, because there's plenty of them for you to look at in museums. Like modern art? Good for you, because there's plenty of it in museums and galleries. Let people enjoy what they want. It's not like rich people would stop laundring money if the art looked different today. If anything, it's harder, because it's harder to buy a performance piece or an installation than it is to buy a painting or sculpture. And it's not like it's easy to get into a good art school either, definitely not where I'm from at least.
