Atheists are not all "smart" and "industrious", hardly I have met some of them ho are not. Some religions people are valuable to society as well, however much we may hate to admit it. Ultimately, I am more agnostic than anything else, just because there is too little evidence and it does not really seem to matter whether or not you believe.
There is the whole issue with Pascal's wager, of course, as an argument for religion. But in the vast scale of religions, it does not seem to make sense to follow any particular one as a result of that logic (assuming you get past the issue of believing something because logic suggests that you do so).
