I find this myth of "/ubf/ boards are shitposting to divide users and drive traffic to their own boards" absurd. Anyone who spouts it is either a blatant liar or a gullible idiot. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Why would a board devoted to loose moderation advertise by spamming and driving down the quality of traditional boards? The selling point of the /ubf/ has nothing to do with getting away from "low post quality". Nobody shills /am/ as the place to hide from plebs, or /vvv/ as the place to hide from shills. Blatantly shitposting on /a/ and /v/ makes people want to see the blatant shitposts removed, and it makes people want more moderation. When everything's a pile of shit, that's when you advertise your strict moderation that keeps things "on topic" and "high quality".
If you ban people, or remove their posts, don't be surprised when they go to a less strict board. Such common human reaction is not an undercover plot.
