But I think the problem is that we have a pretty decent userbase atm, whereas halfchan's is literally all either A. shitty trips, B. shitposting mongoloids, or C. the fashionably illiterate seeking counsel but getting retarded answers.

Here's a little better because most of the board has a grasp of fashion, so they're here to discuss trends and refine styles and whatnot. If you have a bunch of new people who don't into fashun, it'll be nothing but spammed advice threads where people recommend meme cuts and meme shoes like it is on halfchan effay.

fashion is something that tumblrcore normalfags like, so most of /fa/s population was made up of people who weren't really who you'd consider a channer. very few /fa/glords made it over here during the exodus, so unless moot finally shuts cuckchan down this board is never really going to have a stable population. 8chan is made up of people who are too angry and nerdy for 4chan, so the people here aren't very fashionable.
