No, you shouldn't care about what's "in". You should slightly avoid what's "in".
I mean that's a drop crotch in a different fabric and with strange pockets. I haven't seen inspo of it, I'm not sure of what to wear with it, etc etc.
But that's because I'm not rich and also currently saving for designer stuff, if you have some spare money, you could gamble with it.
