Sup fuccbois. I live in a northern state where we typically have really warm and dry summers.

This summer I kind of want to try a new style and go for an east coast trust fund kid with maybe even a playful option for a modernized hippy (without the dirt and retarded liberal bullshit).

I kinda want to try wearing chino shorts. What compliments them? Long sleeves? Boat shoes or lowrise boots?

Boat shoes in general look like shit though. Especially with that string lining.

If you want a similar but decent look then go for some clean and somewhat dressy moccasins.

But honestly, CPs or any minimalist tennis shoes are the most versatile for a casual summer wardrobe, whether you're going for streetwear or a preppier look.

Prep doesn't have to be douchey, but if you go for a standard chino shorts, boat shoes, Ralph Lauren look then you're going to look like a douche, and if you don't have the "trust fund" background to match then you're going to look like a pretentious, try-hard douche.
