Hello, /fa/ts.

One of your members did some unsubtle advertising for your board over on /fatpeoplehate/. Hence I'm here to ask for advice.

I'm a man with long hair. I wear it in a bun. (I swear I decided to do this before everyone decided it was the in thing. My hair just grows slowly.) But I don't want to wear it in a bun the whole time. I also don't like it just flopping about.

I've never had long hair before, so I don't have much idea what to do with it. What product do I use? I have a silicon spray, but that's just to prevent breakage/tangling. I'd like to style my hair, but I don't know how.

Help please.

You should check out YoungStalin, look for long hair styles.I don't know much about long hair but there is some decent inspo there.

Get the fuck back to reddit.

YoungStalin is a great place to look at different hair styles and see what you like, and as for what product to use it's hard to say. What does your hair look like? Is it curly or straight? How long is it? Also what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use?

It's about shoulder length now all around. I have wavy hair. I don't have any interest in straightening it, but I do want it to look like I'm actually doing something to it.

> Also what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use?

Just run-of-the-mill Pantene or Tresemme. I don't use conditioner. That's what the silicon spray's for.

The problem is that my hair's really fluffy after I've washed it. So I'd like some product suggestions for weighing it down and structuring it, but not something that would make it look greasy or sticky.

I'll check out YoungStalin, thanks. Why was that everyone's go-to?

I checked YoungStalin. There's nothing really there for me. Everyone has straight hair. Guess I'll just continue growing my hair until it weighs itself down.
