The only problem for me with /fa/ (but it's a pretty big one) is the massive amount of shitty quality posts and the massive amount of posters who seem like high school dota nerds who want to learn the cool yung lean shirts to buy. -dispense temp bans for people who are clearly just shitposting in discussion threads. i.e. "Rick Owens is a fag and if you buy his clothes you r asap dickrider" as opposed to, "Rick Owen's aesthetic is too extreme/strong for my taste. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something that will doubtless attract a lot of attention". YOu don't have to always post with faggy lexicon and shit but u get the point.
-would be great if users could spend a little effort bringing new content/ideas to the board rather than constantly human centipeding the same shit
honestly i think it's very difficult for any potential admins to have a quality forum without doing a faust and banning everything they don't like.

that problem is the level of effort and thought put into the average post.
If people think before they post and write something cogent, the board will naturally evolve in a healthy way.
