That tweet was part of a string that started with this one (https://twitter.com/AlexValleSF4/status/571413491577278465) that came after the first Online WNF where viewers dropped the stream like it was a hot-potato. The words are a mix of wise-stuff and aimless rambling.
If you are aware of the context surrounding them though it's obvious he was upset he was only getting 2k viewers when previously WNF was giving him 10k~15k viewers when it was held on Super Arcade.
I'll copy paste all the tweets below, read them knowing about the context above and you'll see where I'm coming from:
>When EVO switched from Arcade cabinets to consoles, the OGs thought it was going to be the end of the world and not a "true" tournament.
>Everybody can be upset and frustrated about the transition, but it's necessary for growth. Xbox360/PS3 events have been going for 6 years..
>The Arcade era was not very accepting of new players at first. Took some time for local players to be known and eventually join cliques.
>This is the same treatment online players are receiving from offline players.
>Start online, people call you trash. Start winning online, people call you scrub. Eventually win offline, people still are in denial…
>Not enough education in the FGC. Everybody is worried about what tournaments are getting pot bonuses over building new communities…
>People are wondering by now where I'm going with this. The TO's cannot do this alone. We need help from you to impact a positive FGC.
>I can tell a player how to win EVO and some of have accomplished itPost too long. Click here to view the full text.
