Everyone knows the Godzilla in Godzilla (1998) is a shitty lizard named Zila that was fed radioactive splooge and turned into a giant monster who was then killed by missiles and then Godzilla in final wars.

While I mostly agree with you, I think they focused on the Not Godzillas struggle a bit too much, then again the originals did kinda do that a lot too.
