They declared war on Germany because of its power, they were frightened of Germany then, much like they were frightened of Germany before the First World War. They were not frightened of Russia because it was thought of as backward and, generally, viewed it as a joke. They also felt no need to go to war with Russia because fighting on two fronts would be difficult and they hoped to ally with the Russians to fight the Germans.

Have you ever heard of "conquest"? Just because people once lived in a place and lost it doesn't mean they have the right to live in it. By this logic, the Jews have the right to own Israel.
Also, the reason why this was portrayed so badly in the media, was because this seemed to be the First World War all over again, tensions had already been rising and sides were becoming evident so why the hell not would they spread propaganda? The Germans did the same towards the British, Americans and the Jewish people.

I don't understand why you're supporting events such as the Night of Broken Glass, these were innocent German business owners which were segregated against, had their homes destroyed and were even killed for what? If your reasons are correct it was to teach the Jews a lesson… but why target a whole race when it is much easier to go into high-level talks with the "Jewish bankers" and settle Germany's problems with the international banks through diplomacy rather than ruthless killing.

Hitler just annexed territories from Poland that had previously belonged to Germany, you think France would want peace knowing that Hitler was just around the corner from annexing the parts of Germany that France had won previously? Britain also said that they were to go to war with Germany because of its strength, not because of its morals, Churchill said it didn't matter if Hitler was in charge or a Rabbi but Germany had to be stopped from growing.

After the First World War there was a power struggle involving many political parties, each thinking that they were doing what was best for their country. The East Germans were a majority communist and, because they lost, they were seen as traitors. If Hitler had lost he would also have been seen as a traitor of his country. He also used the large Jewish population of East Germany as propaganda to say that the Jews were trying to destroy his country, when in fact he also participated in that civil war. Ironically, he hates Jews because they are capitalists, when the Jews in the civil war were communist…. it seems like somebody hates the Jews personally rather than for their ideals.

It wasn't uneasy, Stalin believed in the pact whole-heartedly, so much so that when he was told that Germany had declared war he wouldn't believe the messenger. The Germans broke the pact with the Soviet Union and betrayed their trust, showing that the Germans were lying and deceitful.
Stalin wasn't planning on invading the Germans, he believed that the Britain, France and the US, as well as other western-democratic countries, were planning to invade. He told the Russian people that Russia was under-siege so spent all profits from production on defence. Why would he want to invade Germany when he needed to consolidate his own forces and make sure his own borders were in order?
