This is the base recipe for Uj cake, I've been using a slightly modified version lately but I'm still trying to find it. It's a dense, sweet honey-ish cake, goes great with tea and winter. Similar to medivnyk except much stickier and more moist. Picture was the most recent one I had.
3 ½ cups ground almond flour ((looks kind of grainy, that's fine))
1 ½ tsp baking soda
Sift these 2 together in a large bowl & set aside.
3 room-temperature egg yolks
3 room- temprature egg whites whipped to stif peaks
