So, I am thinking of travel, seeing the world and enjoying this great green planet that God(or nature if you will) gave us. However I am a complete noob at this. ITT, I would like to know more about good tourism spots, tips for not having your vacation ruined etc. Information like how easy it is for English speaking tourists in that location(without guides and if with guides if they are easily available). Information about whether a particular location is expensive or reasonable from a middle class perspective. And anything else interesting or useful.

MGTOW related because ever since I became MGTOW, I have more money and more time on my hands to do the things that I love. I love to travel to see the world. This could be a General Tourism thread

Pic related is of Palawan an Island near Philippines. Never been there but would like to go there one day

Video related is of Huma Island Resort. This is also part of Palawan I think. It is supposedly modeled on a similar island resort in Maldives

if you are interested in Japanese culture (or into anime) Okinawa might be an option. They have subtropic climate, nice beaches and nice fauna/flora but they are expensive.

islands look great, but what if a storm hits? tsunamis are a death sentence. they're rare, but when they happen you're fucked.

I actually always envisioned that my dream home would be somewhere in the mountains, or deep woods up north. someplace just close enough to a town so I can conveniently buy toilet paper and soap and ammo, but far enough away that no one will hear me hunting deer for food.

Wow beautiful. I didn't know Okinawa was famous for this as well. Only think I knew about it was the military base.

Not for living there permanently. As a change for a week or two.

A place I have always wanted to go to is Saklin, because it is in the middle of nowhere.

Is that Saklin or Sakhalin

Sorry, "Sakhalin"

You have to be careful about picking vacation spots or even a place where you want to get away from the hectic life for a longer period of time say a month or two. Its nice to be away from the stressful nature of everyday life but sooner or later you miss at least some of the things that a decent city provides. Ideally I would love a place that is away from civilization but has a decent internet connection. Complete loneliness can get taxing after a while.

Another thing is its a good idea to go to nature spots that are legitimate tourist destinations. Otherwise you will end up facing language problems

I agree. Whatever spot you are picking, make sure you are at least a bus ride away from civilization. In my experience we are not all fully ready to get off the grid.

San Pedro in Belize. It's a 15 minute flight from Belize City, and they might already have direct flights into San Pedro from LA.

Most people drive golf carts and bikes. The town is very rustic and not too far up the coast are luxury resorts.

Mostly couples, but a MGTOW would feel fine. Plenty of good expat dive bars. I like Coco Beach Resort, stay in one of the detached villas.
