I'm looking for a medium sized dog

But he needs to be able to pull me uphill when I'm skating.

My short hair border collie is the best dog I ever had, but I have sheep and goats, and 10 acres, I don't recommend such a dog in small spaces.

Small dogs and toy dogs are frankly stupid and retard, even by dog standards, and they also tend to nip and bit and you don't want a law suit on your hands.

My experience beyond that is limited to Labradors, which are fine all-around dogs, but you will need to walk a Labrador daily.

Oh that reminds me: you want a bitch, males even neutered tend to roam and get lost more often. You want her neutered too because a bitch in heat is annoying and will try to roam, and puppies are a pain in the ass.

Do you have animal shelters there? Take a look around, mutts are fine you can tell from a look what stock its made off and you can find one in the size you want.
