So the part about Bane666 (and others) who are BOTH MGTOW and MRA flew right over your head.

MGTOW is a *lifestyle* MRA is a *form of activism*. An MRA can live a MGTOW lifestyle and vice versa. There are some individual MRAs who like to bash MGTOWs and some MGTOWs who like to bash MRAs. But both MRAs and MGTOWs still have the enemy of popular culture creating negative stereotypes of them. Trying to demolish those stereotypes and encourage opportunities for dialogue with normies using the element of humor is *not important*?

How else is MGTOW going to grow even faster?

I see even on forums that should be friendly to the issues of gynocentricism (like the gamergatehq board) where people continue to thoughtlessly equate MRAs and MGTOWs as "woman hating losers". People are even talking about. "I would be a MGTOW but then I found out they just hate women." And yet on the Internet and you-tube displayed examples of male feminists more openly misogynistic as well as other negative traits presented on a silver platter.

Remember #NotYourShield? It helped people on the sidelines understand (if they are willing to even do basic research) that #Gamergate is not about keeping the women out of gaming and is for all kinds of people being involved in gaming. Of course some are too indoctrinated to even accept that the people behind #NotYourShield are nothing but sockpuppets (somehow) but I prefer to focus on those who can be reached with this.

So every MGTOW does not bother with basic grooming and hygiene or care what clothes they happen to wear when they go into the public? Do you walk around in your underoos at the office? If you actually put some effort in making yourself look presentable, then you have to acknowledge that physical appearance is an import factor in interacting with other people. We are social animals after all.

If you think this is about a beauty contest you need to go back and reread what I posted. It was mostly a critique of actions and behaviors that many would recognize as negative. The physical appearance issue is just icing on the cake.

For example #FullMacintosh telling Christine Hoff Summers she is "not a real feminist" (because she rejects the "men are evil" dogma of modern feminists) despite the fact she has been a self described feminist probably longer than he has been alive is an interesting example of a mangina "mansplaining".

This is *not* about making people think MGTOW all look like Brad Pitt. SJWs have poisoned the well already about MGTOW/MRA having negative personality traits. This is about disrupting that narrative using humor.

Ignore the opportunity to exploit this (and then wonder why there are so many men staying in the system) but some will act on importunities like this.

Imagine it from the perspective of a man just waking up to gynocentrism and trying to find out more about these issues. His sense of self worth is unfortunately tied into other peoples' perceptions. We can disagree that it should be this way but it's a fact. Showing that men can empathize with women (without letting them control their lives) is an important epiphany to reach. Many men still struggle with this and base their worth entirely on pleasing women. This can help start waking them up that MGTOW are not the ultimate source of misogyny, *modern feminism is*.

Are other MGTOW ok with this one guy speaking for all of you about not wanting to disrupt misconceptions of MGTOW/MRA? I thought MGTOW were not a hivemind (in contrast with SJWs).
