It has cute characters, general permadeath and a potential dark cure or convert, it'd be a great season if it wasn't for the jarring CGI. The stock footage really suffers from it and so does the show itself.

Right now GoPri is the best season since Smile. If it holds it together for the second half it'll be up there with my two favorite seasons: Fresh and HeartCatch.

The Futari Wa puzzle game is actually decent. It's challenging if you are a puzzle game retard like I am and it's said it becomes extremely difficult during hard mode. You'll have to deal with a badly encoded stock footage slide show though.

The first beat em up is kind of fun too, it's just insanely easy and short. The whole "catch your partner to prevent damage from heavy attacks" mechanic is interesting, but since you can't die if you have a brain, it goes wasted.
