The fed protest wasn't ruined because it was planned here. It was ruined because it worked, it worked, and then they didn't get so hot of a turnout one time, and the shills and plants used it to drag everyone down.
You have go organize somewhere, and thus you always have the issue of someone listening in who isn't in support of you.
As long as we obey the laws of the areas the reserves are in, in how we observe open carry and which sidewalks are public property, they can't touch us, and they know it. It's why no one was arrested the first time. The officer even openly admitted "we got dozens of calls, but our hands are tied."
The only thing this does is potentially get some of the people who protest on watch lists. But we're all on lists anyway just for posting here, so that doesn't really matter. Let them angrily take pictures from a distance if they want to. This is important enough that we should all be willing to risk it.

My take on the matter is that the reason things sputtered out is threefold:
1) Poor planning. In Texas, there was only one week between the thread and the protest. This was a mistake, anons were overexcited and tried to push it out the door before it was ready. Time is critical because anons need to be able to take time off from work/make plans etc., without it you get the situation we got where only a few anons ended up showing up there and since the whole thing was predicated on it snowballing and picking up more anons along the way, so this misstep sucked the momentum out of it.
2) Failure to recruit. I said this a number of times and I'll say it again, this can't just be an 8/pol/ event, if you actually want to make waves you need to draw in other like-minded groups that might be interested and are capable of following instructions. No anon was willing to put in the work to make the calls/send the emails, everyone was expecting someone else to get it done. It doesn't work like that.
3) The shills gave up. Counterintuitively, /pol/ thrives when the shills go all out, after Atlanta the shills switched gears and went silent, causing the threads to miss out on their free bumps. Looks like they're back now, but they shouldn't be relied on for traffic.
I want to once again stress that the plan itself is solid. Atlanta was a quiet success (pic related), it'd be amazing if we could get back on this and put in the effort to make it work. This is within our collective capabilities to pull off.
