The real reason why feminism became viable was because technology drastically reduced the amount of homemaking work that a woman needed to do.
So she would finish her chores and child rearing duties and have fuck all to do.
If we want to return women to their proper role in the home I think we need to address this issue rather than pretend that we can completely return to a pre-industrial society.
I think that we should have a system where women can work part time from the home to earn supplemental income for their families while still taking care of their children.

At this point, if you're planning on sending your kids to college at all, you're fucked.
The solution is simple. Homeschool. Parents can do a better job by miles than Rockefeller funded robot camp. Every study and research project that's gone into this has proven it. Homeschooled children are smarter, healthier, more mentally stable, more motivated, and happier.
And you know what homeschooling does? It takes up time during the day. Time that your wife would have, to use OP's terms, been otherwise spent doing "fuck all."
Homeschool your children. It keeps your wife busy, it makes your kids better, stronger, healthier, and smarter. Get them a part time job early when they're in the low teens, and start looking into getting them into a practical trade instead of college, which should be skipped entirely.
Cut out the levithian of the state entirely. The entire system needs to be completely overhauled to be worth a bucket of stale rabbit piss, so until it is, avoid it entirely.
Besides, seeing how it isn't even a secret that public education exists to dumb kids down and whittle off all the edges so they all fit into the same industrial peg hole, your children should be at or beyond college level by the time they turn twenty. You can pick up used college textbooks for dirt cheap on the internet if you know where to look, and you can buy workbooks in bulk as well. You can give them every aspect of a college education that's worth a damn without having to navigate convoluted systems of course credits or paying out the ass.

Imagine how much light bulbs would cost if they lasted 100+ years? They could easily be made to do so, they used to exist in such robust form and one that's over 100 years old is still burning in a firehouse, it has a birthday party every year – but it's not special, it's just that the lives are kept artificially short by the Lightbulb Conspiracy (it's a fact that it exists / existed). So I know all the stats on the issue of women being broken due to feminism and the sexual revolution but those things came from free time due to automation just like war widows and spinsters caused the 19th amendment, bored women fuck up countries.
I've got two proposals the first is prefered because it solves all of the problems we experience and could foresee but many wont like it because they are brainwashed by feminism and biased by the women in their life who are truly broken; the second option is more doable but will still be met with resistance unless we shop the message for women to think it was their idea.
Solution 1: segregate schoools by gender at 5th grade and as soon as menarche kicks in a girl is of legal age for emancipal marriage. this isn't forced marriage and the girls would have special divorce rights until they are well beyond legal age and even receive check ins twice a year from social services until they are 16. under this system the parents approve the husband dowrys are banned in either direction and all 3 parties (girl, man, guardians) must sign the marriage license of their free will in front of a justice of the peace who will read the girl her rights to disavow this engagement and seek protective care. this solves low birthrate, poor education single mothers, divorce, economic troubles, labor market surplus around since ww2, solves pedophiles, cunty women, removes feminism.
The girls would attend schools without having to deal with being tempted by other males and the schools would cater to them being pregnant at 15 and up, the boys get a world class education the girls get a very good one and they can have all the kids they ever will by the time they would normally be done with college they spend the next ten years being full time mommies and either take a couple online classes at a time or telecommute, under the emperors tax plan hubby could make more money but due to joint filling it wouldn't cost them as much as it currently does for mom to stay home. by the time the youngest of the 3.5 kids is 10 mom can really invest in getting a good degree and prepare to go back to work her daughters will be soon to marry and the boys will need less supervision because they aren't gonna knock up a classmate.
It becomes a problem of meeting girls initially but mostly it will happen through churches and other social groups friends of friends maybe through work, even online bachelor shopping for the parents.
Option 2: get women and companies to co-operate for part time telecommute work that can be done with little education and from the comfort of home on a low end computer, push couponing on all the women that stay home, and encourage women to bake and make the food every one in the home eats that money saved, nutrition earned and weight managed will give their kids and husbands the boost they need to make a better impression in the world.
