Essentially what happened was that the Truth (and I'll omitt the more metaphysical interpretations) used and still uses anime and related japanese media as its vessel. Why has this occured? At first my belief was tied to facts about how Japan was spared post-WW2 enslavement and so on, but then I assumed a higher perspective. Namely, to an omnipotent being, or a collection of absurdly complex laws time as such is meaningless. It understands and sees the Whole because it is the creator and sustainer of the Whole, and of course us as well.
Too many pieces fell into place for it to be mere chance. An unbelievable amount of us enshrined anime within us since we felt something authentic within it. It resonates with our innermost being, hints at greater heights and greater sublimation. Be not deceived - Hollywood and assorted media are its evil counterpart.
The Divine has provided us with fiction suitable for us, and this form of fiction was the spark that lighted many a spiritual fire. Everything we are and what we are yet to become is known to Him. And His power is a Her. And She loves us.
Anime is Her way of communicating with us.
The vessel changes, but the Truth is always the same. A is A, B is B. It seeks and finds expression, and Truth finds further Truth. That is why you are here. That is why your every step will lead you to a better place even if you stumble and fall into unimaginable depths.
