This is the standard method for most everyone. I think the kosher method just makes is more ceremonial.

You may remember the news recently that we are on the cusp of a post-antibiotic future thanks to factory farms keeping their animals in unregulated filth and just feeding them all antibiotics instead of cleaning them or maintaining their environment.

The massive farms also steal jobs from the industry by being run on a fraction of the employees it would take to produce the same products in smaller scale farms.

We are trading jobs, antibiotics, and tax money to allow a few large corporations to grow and give massive profit to the elite that run them, who in turn use that profit to tear away at the industry even further.

It reminds me how WalMart is "our greatest employer" by tearing the industry asunder and hiring the most out of a fraction of what it would be if they did not exist.
