New Bernie thread since the other one seemed to be a big hit and reached it's bump limit rather quickly.
>Median income would soar by more than $22,000. Nearly 26 million jobs would be created. The unemployment rate would fall to 3.8%.
>Those are just a few of the things that would happen if Bernie Sanders became president and his ambitious economic program were put into effect, according to an analysis given exclusively to CNNMoney. The first comprehensive look at the impact of all of Sanders' spending and tax proposals on the economy was done by Gerald Friedman, a University of Massachusetts Amherst economics professor.
>Friedman found that if Sanders became president – and was able to push his plan through Congress – median household income would be $82,200 by 2026, far higher than the $59,300 projected by the Congressional Budget Office.
>In addition, poverty would plummet to a record low 6%, as opposed to the CBO's forecast of 13.9%.
>The U.S. economy would grow by 5.3% per year, instead of 2.1%, and the nation's $1.3 trillion deficit would turn into a large surplus by Sanders' second term.

Are you retarded.
If anything, /pol/ should be behind Bernie Sanders, at least until he beats Hillary.
If anyone else but Bernie or Trump wins the nominations in any of the parties, shit will go bad.
Think about 4-8 years of another Clinton. This would be suicide in the United States.

The polls are still on a 50/50 between Trump and Hillary.
We know that Hillary has a hard time against Trump, and he can use the excuse that she is backed by the corporate elite.
But once Hillary is chosen all the elite will be behind her. Maybe even Fox. Maybe most of the republican candidates like Jeb Bush and others.

Many people like to claim that Jesus was a jew and he kinda fucked over the Jews.
Why can't Bernie be a jew who is fucking over jews.

The thing is that in a few European Countries they have already tried and tested a few of the ideas Bernie Sanders wants to implement into the USA. In many ways, I think the United States is in some respects a better place for some of these ideas than other countries.
The United States is the world power. It owns the world and controls almost everything. If the US started deciding that it will no longer accept companies that don't pay any tax money it will severely cripple the countries. Thus they can't simply decide to act like. Well, we will just move our shit to a country with less regulation. In a way, tax evasion is harder to accomplish in the country that rules the world. Where are you going to flee to and what consequences will this have.
I think in many ways, Bernie Sanders lacks the true determism that is necesarry to fight the corrupt in the USA. Sure he is against some forms of corruption, but he seems to be lacking in fighting other forms.
About trump can be said the same thing. What will trump to about the Super Rich? Will he increase taxes? And what about the middle class. Will the middle class grow like Bernie Sanders thinks it will grow under his policies.
The other thing is that Trump will protect the White People in the USA, and defend religion. But in many ways I feel like he will just limit atheists and pro-abortion people too much.
He isn't a true libertarian and anti-corruption. He is a right wing fascist who wants everyone to follow what he believes instead of actually thinking about fixing problems.

I don't see anything in Sander's plan that deals with manufacturing. Our biggest economic problem is the fact that all our trade-able jobs are going to countries like Japan and we have hardly any industries to call our own. American companies are more loyal to foreign countries than to us. We cannot continue to consume if we don't produce anything. We're even forced to sell our country right from under us.

>Bernie Sanders lacks the true determinism
Bernie honestly doesn't even look like he could survive even a single full term to be honest. He just comes off as the stereo typical, limp wristed liberal pussy, and I think there's a chance the stress would destroy him. I picture him doing the old fashioned overly dramatic fainting pose and then falling out forever. His vice president would probably end up running the country.

That's one idea. But trump's theme has been moving jobs back to america, instead of locate your company anywhere and pay taxes here. It's better to have them here, because the employees would live here, spending their money here.

I feel in many ways that Trump knows some of the business world and that he would want to destroy this. But at other fields Trump just seems ill informed and simply not intelligent.
I get that he is well favored among the republican voters, because he claims to protect them.
However simply because I believe in a few liberal ideals I am scared of his convictions and in general most convictions of republicans against atheism and other stances like gay rights and abortion.
Not that the democrats are any better. They want to ruin any religion with their own brand of Feminism and other bullcrap that they are spreading.
I simply want there to be enough civil liberty to exercise my own rights. Both the republicans and democrats are way too authoritarian with their policies.

How has trump come across as anti atheist? I suppose you could say he's anti-gay rights / abortion but that is more up to the supreme court at this point (and is unlikely to be reverted).
Trump hasn't made these things a focus of his campaign either. At his rallies he mainly talks about trade/jobs and the threat of isis/islam. Republicans have made too big a deal about this and it's what's killed them.

I am aware of this. This is why I rather vote for Trump than Bernie Sanders. But mostly because I know he won't screw us over with feminist bullshit on college campuses, which is currently a really big issue.
I am sure we can trust Trump to protect rights of right wing students, which will definitely not be guaranteed by both Hillary or Sanders.

Give it some time and you might start liking trump. He's a lot smarter than he tries to come across in his campaign (google some older videos of him, he's been thinking of being president for a long time). He's being a politician to get elected, and being bombastic for air time.
He'd probably run as a democrat if he thought it'd be more favorable, but I guess he figured the republican base is more pissed off at PC than democrats, and has to have their positions.
