heh, glad i'm not the only one I used to go to TRS exclusively to listen to the weekly Shoah and i would only listen to the other shows if I was bored. The Shoah used to be fucking great, but between the constant shitposting, meandering aimlessness and Seventh Sons obnoxious drop spamming I can rarely sit through an entire episode anymore. I find the other shows way more enjoyable now.

I remember the first few episodes of Fash the Nation sucked. The podcast felt awkward and the audio was terrible.

Part of me wonders whether Fash the Nation simply became more interesting because the current affairs did. When I first started listening to TRS Bulbasaur was still doing the Shoah and I don't think Trump was on the radar at that point. But it's really come into it's own and I think that's down to the hosts and the ripe subject matter. Now that they have an interlude section covering Europe it feels like the most informative podcast.

As for the Shoah, it's still fun but there are good and bad episodes and that's really decided by how long they linger on a subject. At the start my attention drifted heavily when all they talked about was how they used to be AnCap Libertarians which I found mind numbing.

As it's gone on I've found myself thinking that Seventh Son and Ghoul are actually great it's just Mike Enoch that drags it down. The other guys have a more spontaneous sense of humour and just add more: Seventh Son makes some great songs and Ghoul, when triggered, delivers brutally sharp logic to the matter at hand.

If I think about what I get most out of from TDS it's the analysis of leftist psychology and shitpost humour.

Ghoul never says anything interesting, he usually just reiterates Mike's or someone else's talking points. Seventh Son doesn't say anything particularly interesting either.

I think it's clear Enoch is the most intelligent of the regulars, and so the contrarian nature of imageboards makes people want to say otherwise. People were saying the same thing in a thread last week, that SS and Ghoul are great and Enoch is a faggot etc.

Seventh Son is a great host but he's never really made me go "huh, interesting." Mike does that a lot.

Also, Ghoul is monotone and clearly has an issue with confidence. His "ums" and "uhs" combined with his monotone voice make any stories by him completely unlistenable.

I agree with some of what you're saying and disagree with other parts. Mike rarely makes me laugh, Ghoul does as you say tend to repackage what Mike has said but that's because Mike fucking talks a lot and Ghoul does not. But Ghoul has a certain wit about him.

I mean I guess I judge the podcast as a comedy production these days with the potential for an interesting cross section on X, Y or Z so I guess it's natural I find the witter panelists add more to the podcast.

If there's one contributor guaranteed to bore me it's Hateful Heretic and one guaranteed to irritate it's Richard Spencer. The former has made half hour chunks of podcasts completely disengaging before. The latter produces interesting debate but gets his ass kissed so much on that pdocast despite a lot of his positions, especially when it comes to White Identity in Europe, not coming from any position of authority as is suggested by the reverence he is given. I don't need a person to say nigger or faggot constantly, or to not sound emasculated, in order for me to respect their opinions but Spencer's don't get much from me
