Nigerian here. Our movies are pretty shit, they aren't good in a "it's so bad, it's so good" way either. They're C grade films that are heavier on exposition than cinematography or action choreography. You don't get gems like Hong Kong, Indonesian, or Thailand Cinema.
That's because they're modeled like TV shows, where the audience is always expected to listen to dialogue elsewhere without missing much. Our culture has individuals who are busy all the time, so they just leave the TV on and listen to the dialogue.
Sequels are actually new tv episodes or extra parts as opposed to being an entirely new actual film.

Hispanics are part native, so they do have some history with the land prior to European arrival. The other half is Spanish who used the treaty of Tordesillas to lay claim to the Americas. On that note, the French and English chosen used to prey on Spanish treasure ships, but Spain only really demolished the French for it. They tried to get back at England with the Spanish Armada, but then that went to shit and they didn't really try again.
The major issue is that Spain was full of chosen in the years leading up the reconquista and many of them blended into Spanish nobility as a result. Many of those made their way into Mexico where they've been free to fuck everything up like their cousins in the US and abroad.
