Was looking for a thread kinda like this. I got in an argument at lunch today about the validity of Islamic achievements in the Islamic Golden Age, specifically algebra.
From what I know, algebra was largely developed by Greek mathematicians and propagated by the Byzantine empire but as Saracens do, they conquered and co-opted the knowledge. Normies shout me down because Muslims "perfected" it anyway
