I am in a Super Tuesday state and did not hear anything back about volunteering until yesterday. If Iowa and New Hampshire are any indication, Trump seems to focus less on the ground game.

This, what volunteers do is gather Trump supporters and bring them to the polls to vote. You don't NEED anyone to help you do this, just try to get a few friends and family to go with you to vote Trump. If you can get 2 people to go with you, you effectively tripled your voting power.
