Conflicting rumors.

Early on I heard they find Luke's Lightsaber and his hand from ESB.

This changed into it being a robot hand that might or might not be Luke's.

Also heard rumors of it being Vader's Lightsaber but the concept art shows that it's blue.

It's a real shame he didn't kill Yoda with his Golden Gun, flee and go into hiding and become a sort of OT-era Kreia and teach Luke himself.

It always bothered me that the scene with obiwan as a captive, when he seems so honest and reveals the truth about sidious, that obiwan just scoffs all "i'll never join you". I think he would have been a much more effective character if he managed to fool them for longer.

star wars is first and foremost referred to as "space opera", not directly science-fiction or fantasy/sci-fi

The Clone Wars CGI series took a lot of advice and suggestions from Lucas, and he made many decisions that would mess up the canon, but he didn't care because he thought "this" or "this" would be better and fit his preference. Not his fans. Plus he's too old and foolish make sane choices nowadays.

I used to love this game back in the day, looking back the game really isn't that great. The land battles are ass, and the space battles while incredibly pretty back then don't really have any depth to them. You can click attack move in the general direction of the enemy and then go into the cinematic mode for 99% of fights. The strategic galactic map part also needed more too it, you can't just give it the typical building and research content from a traditional base building RTS and expect that to carry a Total War style campaign map. Still a fun game though, and I probably played it for over a thousand hours with mods and stuff.

As for Tyber Zann and his Zann Consortium, never liked it really. What was wrong with one of the dozens of other crime syndicates Star Wars has established? Why did we need a brand new original one just for this game? The shit they pull off during their story is also completely ridiculous, stealing the fucking Eclipse? Uncovering a carbonite frozen Sith army which you know will never go anywhere because it is never mentioned elsewhere in the EU? Should have just done something low key about building up a criminal underworld power and profiteering off the GCW.

Both the Y-Wing and TIE Bomber are armed with fixed forward firing laser weapons that do them no good as bombers, so logically I'd say they are there for a reason.

Well in the (old) lore Y-Wings were used to engage fighters as well although they were not as effective as more dedicated fighters, and TIE Bombers acted as an anti-fighter missile platform if outfitted with Concussion Missiles.

the reasoning behind it is that the saber is built from spare parts and remnants of vader's lightsaber, the "crossguards" are actually sort of exhaust ports so that the blade is stable, if you notice in the teaser it kinda flickers and diddles around before the sides pop out

at least, that's the current theory, it hasn't been confirmed yet but would make sense.

i want to see topher grace's single edit now, since it puts all 3 prequels into one film.

I like it, more than I like Episode VI really. I'd give it a 7.5, maybe 8/10. The action is great, and the acting and dialog is a big step up from the previous two prequels. The movie's biggest problems are that romance, and the pacing. Its trying to do far too many things at once, you could probably edit Episode III into two different movies if you really tried.

It really is. Episode I is completely pointless when you get down to it, and while Episode II establishes a lot of important things you can skip it and still understand III just fine.
