come again? never heard of this before. also inb4 filoni rewrites kyle katarn into a new character. also rogue one is covering those exact details so most likely they won't touch that in rebels.

As long as they keep reincorporating the actually good bits of the EU like they seem to be, I really don't care.

People just don't like change. The new canon allows so many people to jump on and stay with the canon without the average person being intimidated by the sheer amount of content.

Now we have in place a system that filters out inconsistencies and quality control. At least for now it seems to be working.
