Tapping into the dark side isn't that bad… Luke does it to defeat Vader in RotJ, and he became grand-master.

And it doesn't tap into the dark side. It uses your own aggression but in a controlled manner. But because you're using your aggression it could lead to the dark side if you're not careful.

Except that he did lose a padawan or two to the darkside because of this style because it does indeed tap into the dark side. Vapaad is a style that only Mace has been able to master without going screwball.

Juyo is an incomplete style used exclusively by dark siders and was the basis for the more refined Vapaad.

Sorry if this is too normie for 8chan, but think of the Mayfield vs. Pacquiao fight. Honestly, who seems more evil/angry, all those Sith things? Definitely Mayfield. Manny was smiling the whole time, he's a loving father, has only said nice things etc. Now, if you watch their fight, Manny FOR SURE had a more aggressive fighting style. He was throwing wild punches all over the place.

My own experience in sports tells me similar things. Aggressive tactics in physical activity doesn't necessarily mean you're absorbed by anger. I have next to nothing to be personally angry about in the world and I was known for being extremely aggressive on the field in rugby
