Scene with the burning of Vader's suit is one of the best in the series and it was only added later in production because Lucas thought they needed to show what happened to Vader's body.

whoever came up with this is an idiot. star wars isn't the kind of series that you have flashbacks in. this is why episode 7 is going to be a good, maybe a great film, but a poor star wars film. the storytelling and filming techniques that lucas borrowed from kurosawa and irvin kershner are one-of-a-kind and jj abrams will either emulate it horribly or not use it at all and thus it will be shit.

Rewatched all 6 movies with my girlfriend who never seen star wars before, she really digs that shit now
