Did you guys like the first ep of Rebels?
No.105
The beginning was shit, it introduced characters in a super basic way and seemed extra childish. I felt like it got better as it played out though. Still, it lacks the detail and depth that we started to see in CLone Wars. Clone Wars started off shit as well, but you'd think they'd use their experience to make this good.

it may just be me but i really enjoyed it, the use of mcquarrie art and not-quite fully ep 4 tech while still having more identifiable tech (stormtrooper armor, E-11 rifles, TIE fighters) helped as well, and i plan to watch it more often. apparently they will rerelease the pilot with a scene that has vader on abc.

watched the first episode and thought it was pretty basic. There was some potential for coolness towards the end.

So far the only thing I like about Rebels is Subway. I got a Storm trooper bag when I got a sandwich there.

>>112Shit yeah I saw those bags, I wanna get one. Looks like I know what I'm getting for lunch now, thanks Anon

I really wish they brought the original Clone Wars series back.
Now that shit was fun. Seeing Grievous actually doing things instead of running was pretty cool.
RIP Shaggy.

>>118I thought the art style was super cool. Durge was super bad ass too.

>>118The original Clone Wars had so much potential, but it was wasted by the 5 minute episode format. Imagine proper 20 minute episodes with plots and action.

>>128>>131This, Republic Commando, and Battlefront are sadly the only things I really liked that has anything to do with the prequels.

>>118Holy crap I remember these.
I even bought an Arc Trooper set when I was younger.

so has anyone been watching rebels?
i haven't caught up since the second episode in which 3po makes an appearance while working for some imperial agent, which doesn't make sense.

>>225That's the last episode I watched. I feel obligated to watch this show, like maybe it will get better like the Clone Wars did.
No.229
>>225I haven't watched a single episode.
Just doesn't look interesting.
Am I wrong?

>>229I'm actually enjoying it. It's quite childish at times but you just kinda cringe then move on. Feels a lot like the same family-friendly vibe as the original trilogy.
No.238
I'm enjoying it, but I'm finding it hilarious as well, my name is actually Ezra, so it's weird watching it!
