I just hope it's not going to be another fiasco like Rise of the Hutt Cartel.

They seem to be embracing the fact that they are non-canon now, I'm interested to see where this goes.

It seems like a good story but fuck me, EA really nuked themselves in the foot by not making The Old Republic a single player game. It would have been an amazing RPG if they put their mind to it.

in essence, it is a single-player game. The MMO-part is pretty much optional at this point. In particular when it comes to the story-quests.

Though, in regard to their non-canonicity, I'd say they've branched off and made their own canon.

I've spent too much time in MMOs to be able to immerse myself in a story with that type of gameplay.

Also MMO pacing isn't right for a Star Wars rpg.

But I m fucking weak, probably gonna subscribe again in a couple of years to go through the story.
