Is there any recommended EU list(comics, books etc.)? I want to get into it but I don't want to waste my time with fanfic garbage.

pretty much everything post-jedi that isn't the yuuzhan vong or legacy is pretty good

don't bother with the karen traviss novels, while they do expand mandalorian culture she still whitewashes them

anything pre-phantom menace like the shit posted in >>431 is also worth a look
