Since Disney has pretty much brutally violated and tossed aside the Thrawn Trilogy, I was wondering if the Chiss species is still canon? Have they been mentioned in any of the new damn "canon" media? Or have they been replaced by those damnable Pantorans?

lucas' cameo role isn't chiss, he doesn't have the red eyes. pantoran is his race. also chiss were never technically canon since they didn't appear until heir to the empire.

but he was in clone wars, kek. let's hope that filoni throws some chiss into rebels or something. maybe the bartender from jedi outcast.

I never said Lucas' character was a Chiss. I asked if the Pantorans replaced the Chiss. And yes, I hope the Disney slave lords decide to include some Chiss action in Rebels. Maybe a young Thrawn. They don't have to make the Thrawn Trilogy canon (as much as I would like that), but they could just feature him as a villain in an episode. Reintroduce him with a new story. Disney, you bastards better do this…

I'm not fapping over it. The character was just really good and I really liked the Thrawn Trilogy, but like I said I can live without it, but I would just like to see Thrawn reappear in some form of antagonistic role at least.
