Who is your favorite sith lord?
I have to go with Darth Nihilus
>can devour entire planets full of force sensitives
>invincible to any living being other than Exile
>cruises around in a creepy ghost ship
>pure evil, doesn't care about power or any other Sith crap
>is literally an undead spirit
>the only thing keeping him together is his hunger for the force

i can't choose
vader, bane and revan are all my top picks
sion and nihilus are great as well.

I know some people are really against SWTOR and everything about it but I really liked Darth Malgus. Dunno if he's my favourite but I liked that he wasn't all about being as evil as fucking possible. Nihilus is an exception because he's so evil it's practically grimdark, but people like Malak that are all "hmmm yes wipe this pathetic planet off the face of the galaxy that'll really rustle some jimjims ',:[]". Sometime Sith Lords get too much of that "I represent everything western society thinks is bad" feel and that's annoying

>>827he certainly looks badass, also holy shit anon i read that malak line in the most asshole voice ever and imagined some serious moustache-twirling going along with it. that's some snidely whiplash-tier villainy.

No.832
>>831>>827Is it possible to play SWTOR just for the story and ignore all the MMO crap as a f2p player?
No.835
>>832it's actually almost intended for that
it's a single-player game that just so happens to have a bunch of other people in the world too
And that's why I loved it, each class has a story that draws you in, and they all feed into the overarching war, and it's all very interesting
No.846
>>832My only warning to you is that if you want to avoid MMO shit as a f2p player, you have to do EVERY QUEST to keep up in levels. Which means more story in the end, but I sometimes just wanna get on with the class quest. The first time through isn't bad because the side quests are new, but the second time playing a faction can be tedious.

Ian Richardson would have been a great sith lord.

I would have to say Kreia. Beating the game so many times and hearing all of the dialogue paths had a huge impact on my views of morality and how relative it is.

this so much, and idk if it's cut content or my game glitched out but nihilus was entirely absent throughout the game (apart from visas' speech that only referred to him as master) until i got to the ravager and fought him

Scottish voice actor aside, he was one helluva edgelord with the personality and background of a 13 year old's imagination.
As for my pick, I'd have to say Vader or pre-TOR Revan, because they're classics who did their jobs well and weren't power-hungry total evil guys.

Vader because he's not pure evil and actually has some depth to him.

Muh niggas.
Nihilus is so awesome because he's not even a person anymore. All that's left is pure fear. It's like Lovecraft was injected directly into Star Wars and I love it. Such power isn't supposed to be badass, it's supposed to be terrifying.

Jesus Christ this. The whole game he's built up as The Death Of The Force, an eldritch abomination that will end all life in the universe. Indescribably powerful, capable of sterilizing planets with a mere thought, his mere presence rots your very soul and sucks away your very life.
When you're on the bridge of the Ravager and it looks like a cathedral of Hell you know you're going to be in for some tough shit. Just approaching him is scary.
And then you start the battle, he's not really even a threat to you, and he goes down in under 5 minutes. You barely lost any health.
The fuck?
Kreia says he's starving to death by the time you meet him, but was it really that bad? The End Of All Things can get rekt by a thoroughly average jedi, her seer friend, and a dude in a suit of armor. You're trying to stop him from devouring Telos, but surely there's some other poorly protected rimworld he could have sucked up first as a snack?
Sion's not that hard either; he's only scary because you have no idea how many times he's going to keep resurrecting.
And then Traya is suddenly an utter ass-raping. You end up expending all the hundreds of energy shields you've collected through the game that you didn't need because you thoroughly minmaxed your character but you still end up saving in a new slot after every 30 seconds of combat because she's so thoroughly anally ravaging you. Those floating lightsabers still give me nightmares.

The easy mode Force power you get after meeting the Jedi Masters on Dantooine makes the rest of the game a cakewalk. Now Malak is the boss I expended all my shields on, though he is not a top tier Sith lord by a longshot.

As someone with some measure in saber-sparring, a hilt that large is a very attractive target for your opponent, and I doubt that thing was made from cortosis.
The ring is also easy to get a hold of and pull the sword away from you.
4/10 would use.
