/svidya/ is a strict /v/ alternative for moderated vidya discussion. This Board wasn't intended to replace /v/ but to aid Anon's in having vidya discussions with zero shitposters. Thanks for adding /svidya/ to /v/'s recommended boards, Mark.

Western, eastern, PC, console, old, new – just show me some foreboding dungeons, tricky puzzles, crazy monsters, and cool party-building, if you please.

There's a chart an anon made for dungeon crawlers that I want to go through

I'm currently playing SMT II, already went through SMT I and SMT:SJ. Dark Spire on the NDS is really cool too. Can't speak for the EO series but it gives me the impression it's pretty crazy on party building.

Always wanted to finish Shining in the Darkness as well.

On a side note. Has there ever been a multiplayer dungeon crawler? The concept just popped in my head and I'm curious about it.

I'm surprised no one talks in this thread on /svidya/. Is there an EO or a SMT thread up?

Saging since no one is paying attention to the thread anyways.

Wonder if the troll dev ever releases his game. I'm very interested tho, if he does.

Have you played the superdemo? It's brilliant. It's a shame we will never be able to play the full version.

I briefly tried just to test how it plays. Didn't want to spoil the experience if the full version comes out. All those stats were somewhat confusing without explanation.

Temple of Elemental Evil

It has a very classic DnD feel, and the combat is god tier.

seems too D&D. Can't figure out the control mechanisms like how to heal and cast magic. My party keeps dying.

What. Just right click to bring up the radial menu for your character.

Healing comes from resting (rest in green tent areas always), using cure wound potions, or casting a healing spell.
