Maybe, but I doubt it. Author has too much of a boner for his pretty little mary sue. He'd throw a fit if CDPR killed her. Not that they'd care much, but it'd still be shit flung on them in Poland.

Actually that makes much more sense, considering how big cdpr is on choices.

But I feel like it's more likely to be a female character like triss because of how much she's been with him and the players feeling a connection to her best girl.

Hopefully they have more choices of the first game's style, where what seems good and reasonable is actually bretty bad for everyone, I think they didn't do as well on that in the second game

but yeah, I'd bet on Triss being taken out

See, I was mad that they undid my Geralt getting with Shani in W1 in W2 but there is no way that they could make a couple given Geralt's personality in the books. He's a whiny bitch half the time with no real sense of direction, she has her shit royally together both in the novels and in the first game.

My prediction for deaths is (novels spoilers)

Dandelion lives so he can be in the Toussaint expansion and also so he can write "A Half Century of Poetry" when he's actually been a poet for 50 years

Only Ciri is guaranteed to live through the final showdown because she has plot armour. Triss dies because of the visions of her death in the books, Yennifer and Geralt probably die helping Ciri fight The Dearg Ruadhri at the Spiral, just like Cahir, Regis, Angouleme, and Milva all died helping them kill Vilgefortiz.

If I'm not mistake CDPR will release the next Witcher game to follow the Cyberpunk 2077 structure, so you will be able to do your own character in the Witcher world.

I remember hearing it in a interview when the journalist asked about Witcher future after the 3.
