X Simulators Anonymous 04/04/15 (Sat) 10:17:51 58f3cf No. 11021
Have you played any games that do a single thing so often that the game itself is partially a simulator of said procedure? One that does it so well that it feels enjoyable and is actually a good thing. Pic related as an example. I've only played the first spectrobes and have yet to unwrap my copy of beyond the portals I just got in the mail, and now that I look back on the first game, the drilling was done really well in my opinion, and was a big part of the gameplay that still managed to be enjoyable despite feeling like a drilling simulator.

Also, holy shit why can't DS games these days come as well packaged as this game. >receive beyond the portals>take out plastic wrapped case >it's literally bulging at the seams, slightly apart >almost 1.5 times the normal depth of a ds case >actual fucking game manual inside >half a dozen of those neat fucking cards inside that you scan ingame and get free rare spectrobe stuff with They don't make'em like they used to.

I'd make the argument that Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a kicking simulator. A damn good one at that.
