so hard that even if you manage to fight a boss out of order, not only do doors not get unlocked but you won't even get the plasma beam or space jump or whatever. Instead, the game tells you that you've unlocked whatever the last level of doors is that you've unlocked. Bosses beaten early actually
respawn until you beat them again at the intended time.

Fraser stated he is not able to afford to make the payments, which totaled $900,000 per year. Ex-wife, Afton Smith, accused Fraser of hiding contracts which guaranteed income, but Fraser counteracted her accusation by stating the contracts were not finalized. Fraser also explained his recent financial difficulties were due to an injury he suffered during Hurricane Sandy. Fraser stated he hurt his back while attempting to remove a tree from his home, and the injury he suffered could cause a drastic reduction in his income.

I'm playing Jak and Daxter and it's getting on my nerves how much the game tries to guide me. Whenever I do one thing wrong or take my time Daxter shouts where I'm supposed to go or how to attack an enemy's weak spot. Shame that such good level design is tainted by this.

Despite this being a troll thread, let's turn this shit into diamonds. Isn't the Stanley Parable essentially hand-hold: the game? From what I read it seems trying to do anything other than what you are assigned just causes bad things to happen.

>>13554 >>13083 Why the fuck do you retards think this is a troll thread. It's a genuine question about overly linear games with too much handholding. I just decided to use the word 'strict' as a nod to the theme of this board. It's my favourite board you downsies.

>>13554 Are you trying to troll there or are you just genuinely retarded?
Stanley Parable is one of the best "art" games out there because it's actually really funny and uses the medium in which it's in to narrate. Not tell a story, mind you, because it's not a story. There's narrative, there's events and occurrences, but no real plot.
