I can't bring my desktop computer to the park.

Nah, the only public gaming I do is on long bus/airplane rides and the only "arcade" is at Chuck-E-Cheese.

Arcade only when they existed, with the exception if someone brings a console to a bizarre place, i join in for giggles and the whole anomality about it I find portable stuff in very public places somewhat cringeworthy, but this comes from a dude who gets pissed when people check their smartphone in the middle of a conversation I'm very old-styley in that sense of public/behavior codes

I play my 3DS while on breaks between classes. After I find a good place where no one will see me.

I take my little sister every so often to the arcade. I also might play my DS in public if it's a particularly good game.

>>14039 I played my DS between classes at my community college. I brought it with me to my university for the last few semesters but haven't actually brought it out anywhere with me. I play Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and DOOMRL on my netbook, also got some old toaster games runnin' on that (gotta boot into windows for Stronghold and SWGB to work correctly since Wine doesn't work with them on the netbook but just fine on my regular laptop).
If I had a Vita/3DS I
might play it in public for a bit if I had the time but it would probably meet the same fate as my DS and end up going around the home/dorm and nowhere else.

I go to the arcade once every few months.

Hearthstone on smartphones is a thing now so I'm good in that department.

I played on my DS in law school between classes. Most of the people there were so pretentious, but I actually made some good vidya-playing friends, too.

I play my 3DS on the bus because I have passed the point of being socially acceptable. It's not that I'm too cool for social norms, it's that I'm not cool enough to follow them, so I'll just try to hide in the background and not cause trouble.

>>14156 > gets pissed when people check their smartphone in the middle of a conversation I'm with you on that, fuck people these days. Even worse when you're trying to hold up a conversation and they just don't care
