Console friends welcome, although I'm sure most of us will be discussing the recent PC release.

Having fun? Having not touched the game since it came out, it's a nice replay.

I never saw the appeal. They just look like real life simulators.

I played some vice city on my friends ps2 years ago. All I remember doing was using cheats for weapons, randomly stealing cars and crashing them and killing a bunch of people.

That sounds like my experience with GTA3. I didn't ever finish GTA:VC either but I figure it's because I'm not a fan of urban open world games (or maybe it's because most of them are based on GTA and I can't get into that series).

Is there any reason why the car theft lists were in GTAO instead of GTA5?

IMO that is the appeal. I personally like it for that not because I'm some edgy faggot, but because its nice to just relax and drive around with no rules telling me where to go and turn and not to hit that group of people.

Mulitplayer has always been fun too, but that was only because my friends and I would harass the other players until they cried or quit.

I remember I always had trouble getting into them because they just feel too open world. Even worse now that the stories mostly take themselves seriously. I'm an autist that tries to act in character with what I do, so with V I could really only go on rampages with Trevor. And even then it felt awkward.

First person bike wrecks or crashes while doing jumps are really… real.

Yeah that part where Michael gets abducted by aliens and then flies through the city while everything is warping and changing colors was true to life as fuck.

How do you deal with the pressure of playing online?

I'm really bad and end up messing up and dieing and my name gets shown that I died and I know people are really upset at me even if they don't say anything. I mean some of them are nice and they continue anyway without saying anything but I know that they're really upset because I messed up…

Stop caring so much.

I can't, I'm the one messing up. I don't even want to join heists because I know I'll mess up for sure and everyone will get mad. I'm lucky enough I found some nice people sometimes that don't scold me even though I mess up repeatedly.

Even if you mess up, don't quit the game because that sends everyone back to free mode. Just hit replay and learn from your mistakes.

That and they're hilarious. Particularly if you were using the phone for something and suddenly you fly out of the windshield.

Oh you said bike wrecks specifically. Yeah those two but I enjoy it when I fly out of the windshield from a car crash more.
