>Are there any good games on gog?
Quite a few. Their library is much smaller than Steam's, but they've been doing some impressive IP wrangling recently.
>Star Wars: TIE Fighter
>Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb
>Star Wars: Y-Wing
>other old Lucasarts games that were before my time
In terms of personal recommendations:
>the free games you get for making an account, specifically Tyrian 2000 and Beneath a Steel Sky
>The Witcher series
>Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
>Megabyte Punch! (currently on sale, I believe)
>Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition
>Enclave (weird third-person action adventure game from the guys who made Riddick before they made Riddick - has problems, but I greatly enjoyed playing it, and apparently the GoG version runs better than the Steam version)
>Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico
>Painkiller Black
>Papers, Please
>Planescape: Torment
>Deadly Premonition Director's Cut
>Duke Nukem 3D
Make sure you pay attention to their newsletters and big sales, too. Since I signed up, I've gotten Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics, The Witcher 2, and a few others for free.
They also have a few free games and movies on the catalog, like Akalabeth: World of Doom, The Pirate Bay: Away From Keyboard, and The Art of Playing.
People like to give GoG shit because they used a pirate crack on one of their games, once, but they're overall a very good store. And you get game OSTs and other bonus stuff included with the game, whereas Steam charges you for that content and give you less of it.
