I really only care about Xrd and Melee. Sucks there's no PM, but oh well.

I'm sad KOF didn't make it. I enjoy watching that.

Despite not playing the game much, it actually looks very fun to spectate. Its something I will enjoy quite a bit since I've missed it before.

Last I heard a bigger streams that normally cover it are beginning to drop it due to potential legal trouble. It's weird since nobody's cared for a while and then all of a sudden people suddenly don't want to or can't stream it. Nintendo has to be going around giving warnings or something, and with the release of Smash 4 it sounds likely.

If you took interest from watching Melee I'll just say now that Smash 4 isn't really fun to watch. It's a good game, great even, but it's mired by a strong focus on defensive play to the point where matches can drag on and on.

I see. That's quite unfortunate because I enjoyed watching Melee's fast offensive based battles a lot more since they were quite interesting to watch and they had a lot of really good comebacks as well.

Really? I found it to be more of the 3rd Strike of the series.

The only time I ever watched evo was the year soul calibur 5 was in, was some pretty cool shit. I never got into any other fighters though.

I'm coming at this from the standpoint of someone who plays fighting games exclusively casually and only tunes in to watch Evo (not any other tournaments).

Gotta keep the tourneycrabs happy somehow. The Smash community would fucking riot if 4 was there and Melee (or Project M, but legal issues) isn't. I think Melee is an alright spectacle, but it's competitively stale as fuck. I'll tune in until we're down to space animals, Marths, and sheiks.

I'm always interested in seeing what the best players are going to be doing in a game that came out so recently. Mortal Kombat is cool in general and the style system seems like it will probably allow for some pretty interesting match-ups.

I'd watch if an Akihiko main could do well. I seriously doubt that will be the case, so I don't give a fuck.

As a player that is reletibly casual in the fighting scene, liking Smash, playing all of the but Melee (Never have, hard to find a copy now days), and the only Street Fighter I like is the 3DS one because ease of use and stuff, If I watch it will be a final for Smash 4 and maybe Melee

I'll probably only watch USF4, the only other fighting games I play are Blazblue, Arcana Heart, Skullgirls, and 3rd Strike.

Probably the weakest lineup for EVO ever.

I'll watch mainly the side tournaments for KOF and Skullgirls.

Melee will be great like always. Really fast game, really cool tech, low variety in skill between top players, they're all contenders, really exciting in general.
