I've been hearing a lot of good things about the latest patch for this game, and with the gameplay I've seen regarding said patch, I'm interested in playing it myself.

Is it worth the price they are asking for it? And also, is it possible to play this without steam? I know I can buy the game directly from their site, but I would like to know if it's possible to play with others and receive updates without the need for steam.

Doesn't seem that interesting since it seems like another survival horror type game like DayZ but I might try it out later on to see if its any different/good.

If it has no multiplayer wouldn't it be best to buy the game to support the developers and get the crack to play the game withou steam?

There is multiplayer available for the game with the ability to host dedicated servers as shown on the dev's website (link below).

I was just wondering if it was possible to play with others and get updates without the need to be logged into steam. Trying to find games I can enjoy without the need of a steam account.
