If you donated to the Infinity Dev. Group over Flattr, it seems that they have turned into a scam and you should charge these conmen back immediately by contacting your financial institution. (I realize this includes my support key. I don't give a shit, flood their insecure bullshit report ticket in my name. I see no other way to prove it.) Reports are that they lost their PayPal account recently, and Flattr CEO and only employee @bonq is ignoring all communication from me via their ticket system and Twitter. The icing on the cake is that they blocked me and three others for asking where the fuck 46.74 EUR went.

/svidya/ is a strict /v/ alternative for moderated vidya discussion. This Board wasn't intended to replace /v/ but to aid Anon's in having vidya discussions with zero shitposters. Thanks for adding /svidya/ to /v/'s recommended boards, Mark.

1dbbbc No.16641

Other Yooka-Layley thread was dead/old, so I'm making a new one to talk about the gameplay that IGN showed recently.

Direct link to IGN because videos don't work with archive.is.

So now that we've gotten to see the characters in motion (even if it's clearly alpha or beta), what do you think of the game, /svidya/? It seems to be colourful enough and certain parts of the levels remind me of old school platformers like Super Mario 64, but I disliked how they said collectibles will play an important part in the game. I hate collectibles and collectathon-styled platformers, so I hope that they don't have as many things to collect as Banjo-Kazooie or Donkey Kong 64.

This is all pointless speculation, of course, but speculation can be fun.

>>16641

>they want this game to feel like something from the N64 era, but obviously with a modern sensibility

>collectibles are a really big thing in the game

>collectibles will influence what moves you can do in the game, which actually sounds really cool to me

>it's not just collecting for collecting's sake

So is it actual collecting or just normal REGULAR advancement of the character and skills and mechanics through some sort of currency like in Ratchet & Clank with bolts? The part with "something from the N64 era" is neat, because it's been quite some time a good just plain old simple game with nice simple fun mechanics was released, tfw Crash is DEAD, I still play Warped every now and again.

>about 3 months into development

No real reason to get invested in the game at all, the FAQ says they plan to have it released around October 2016, so plenty of time to see how the game will go.

Isn't this also the game that two furries paid a shit ton of money to be VAs in? Chibi was one of them, right?
