>they want this game to feel like something from the N64 era, but obviously with a modern sensibility
>collectibles are a really big thing in the game
>collectibles will influence what moves you can do in the game, which actually sounds really cool to me
>it's not just collecting for collecting's sake
So is it actual collecting or just normal REGULAR advancement of the character and skills and mechanics through some sort of currency like in Ratchet & Clank with bolts? The part with "something from the N64 era" is neat, because it's been quite some time a good just plain old simple game with nice simple fun mechanics was released, tfw Crash is DEAD, I still play Warped every now and again.
>about 3 months into development
No real reason to get invested in the game at all, the FAQ says they plan to have it released around October 2016, so plenty of time to see how the game will go.
Isn't this also the game that two furries paid a shit ton of money to be VAs in? Chibi was one of them, right?
