I've seen a few speedruns but I don't watch them regularly. Depending on the runner they can be decent background noise. Either somebody doesn't talk or is generally low key.
>Favourite tricks and glitches?
The teleport glitches like the ones in OoT and FFIII are interesting but only the first time.
Nobody uses it anymore for speedrunning but I do like the forward slash jump into a wall in OoT that allows you to skip the trials in Ganon's castle. I hate them and I've never completed them.
I did consider learning how to speedrun a JRPG because I just kept wanting to play it again (and I'm a fucking spaz), so I might as well do the majority of it quickly (I'd watch the cutscenes and do bonus shit). But after I downloaded the notes from the guy with the WR, an excel file with five-six sheets full of info, I decided it wasn't worth it. At least not now, I might do it later.
>Sonic '06 (no MSG)
Is that the glitch that involves dying while talking to an NPC and it basically skips the entire game?
